Disney and Lemonade

Matt had a few days off for his spring break and we decided instead of spending the money to go somewhere out of town, we would just hang out around here and do some fun things. Since Matt doesn't get a ton of days off, we decided to utilize our Disney passes again with him! We sure had a good time and the kids were so happy to have him with us!

While at Disneyland Eliza really really wanted to get her face painted. She has asked me every time we have gone and I cannot bring myself to pay $14.00 for something that will just wash off at the end of the night. So I told her that she can earn her own money by doing chores and if she decides she can use her money for face painting the next time we go. So of course, the very next day, Eliza had a genuis idea of instead of having to do chores to earn her money, she was just going to have a lemonade stand! I wish I would have gotten a picture of the 6 neighbor kids she recruited to help her flag down cars and even go door to door. It was pretty cute! I was so proud of her that at the end she even decided to give them 2 quarters each! She also had a cute little 3 year old helper that drank most of the product and did a good job of eating chocolate cookies the whole time!

Girls Day Out

This is what happens when you ask the vietnamese lady to take some pictures. And these were the good ones!~

Eliza didn't have school last friday but Porter still had preschool. So we decided to do a special day together. We love getting our nails done! Eliza always picks one color for her toes and one for her hands. The sweet ladies at the salon do either polka dots or flowers and Eliza just loves it! Then we went to the video store and got a few movies we hadn't seen yet and also a treat at the bakery. (my favorite part!) I love this little girl that is growing up so fast. She really is such a sweetheart! I hope she will always be my pal and want to hang out with me even as she gets older.

Harrisons Mission Call

We are so excited for Harrison to go on his mission. We are so proud of him for making this decision to give 2 years of his life to the Lord. It was a fun experience to be here with him when he opened it. Porter and I went on a bike ride to track down the mail man. We didnt realize that while we were riding around the block the mail man had delivered it! We saw it peaking out of the mail box when we got home. So we called harrison out to get it! We quickly made some phone calls and threw together a quick pizza party for everyone to be there when he opened it.

The problem is...he said the wrong mission. He's not going to South Carolina, but actually is going to Charlotte, North Carolina spanish speaking. The reason they are jumping up and down screaming is because his cousin who just left for his mission got called to the same mission. He is the one he is jumping up and down with. They are pretty excited and it is so crazy that they are going to the same place. Harrison will leave May 19th. We will miss him when he goes but we are so happy for him to have this experience.

Grandparents Day

At Eliza's School they had Grandparents day for all of the Kindergartners. Since her and her cousin Ollie are in the same class, both grandma and grandpa Schultz were able to go. They were suppose to wear their pajamas so before school they went out to breakfast and made a date of it! At the school they had cookies and milk and read books together. Then each child got to stand up and introduce who they brought and what they enjoy doing together. Eliza said that she lives with her parents because her dad is in school so she loves to climb in bed with Grandpa and Grandma and watch cartoons. It's been fun watching my kids build memories with my mom and dad while we live here. I know they are going to be sad to leave them when we move. If your wondering, ollie is the one in black. The other little boy was another kid from the class that didn't have a grandparent with them. So my parents lovingly adopted him for the day!

Lily 5 months

At 5 months Lily is 14 lbs! She looks little but has cute chubby legs! I love it. She loves to be held (which isn't always fun) but I am trying to just enjoy it. Instead of getting frustrated at not getting the things done that I need to, I am loving her baby lotion soft skin and smell, her wet kisses and her fingers tangled in my hair, which I know won't last long at all. Lily is so giggly and happy. She makes the cutest little feminine girly sounds. I love it! She loves to splash in the bath and play with toys. Its fun to watch her grab at her feet and try to put them in her mouth. She is rolling over from her tummy to her back and as crazy as it is that she is already 5 months old, we are all enjoying every minute of her!

Another day at Disneyland

I was sad that my battery in my camera died shortly after we got there so I didn't get very many pictures from our fun day. Eliza had the day off from school so we decided to head to Disneyland and use our passes. A little before we left my mom asked if she could come too! I was so excited! We had a great time with her and it was nice to have the help. Its always nice when the weather is good and the lines aren't very long!

Sam and Nikki

My brother Sam got married on January 16th to a really cute girl named Nikki Crandall who I am so excited to have in our family. It was such a fun, beautiful and emotional day! They really are great for eachother and I was so happy to see this day finally happen. Sam needs someone like Nikki that loves him for who he is but isn't afraid to make him be even better! I know he is because of her! She looked amazing and the whole wedding turned out awesome.

This is my sister Christy. She is very talented at flowers and decorating. She was my partner in crime to try and get the look that Nikki wanted. I was so happy with what we were able to come up with and how it turned out. Nikki and Sam seemed pleased too! It's nice having such a big family because it gets the job done. All of the sisters and some friends spent the friday before the wedding doing flowers and putting everything together. It was fun but alot of work!

These two little cuties wanted to be matching in their cute dresses! My Aunt DeAnne sales really cute little girl dresses and I asked if she could get me anything in black. Eliza has become really opinionated about what she wants to wear and what she doesn't like. I was so excited that she loved the dress!

Eliza grooved on the dance floor until she literally couldn't stand any longer. She was so cute singing all the songs and feeling so grown up! I think her favorite was the Miley Cyrus "party in the USA".
Porter didn't make it very far into the reception. During dinner he crawled up onto my lap and asked if we could go home, then he closed his eyes and went to sleep. We hadn't even been there a half an hour. I layed him in the relief society room and he slept the entire night! The best part that you can't see is under his shirt and tie he is wearing his Superman costume!
Check out more awesome photos on my cousin Amelia's blog! She was the photographer and is amazing at what she does.
