This silly boy tries to run and hide everytime I try to take his picture. It's kind of cute because he giggles and runs and finds the best ways hide!

Father's Day was a great day! We just spent it together as a family. Eliza made matt a fun "crown" and gave him a frisbee because they love to play together! Porter gave matt a mitt and a ball with velcro! Porter loves to play catch and dribble a basketball. (at least try!)

We think we are so funny at times! I am surprised I didnt succomb to more peer pressure as a teenager because my friends seem to be able to get me to agree to d anything!

Matt, Josh McDaniel and Joe Smart!

Some great friends and crazy Lindsie McDaniel!

Lindsie, me, Krista Cromar and Lindsay Grantham. We all live withing a few houses of eachother and have become the best of friends!

Due to the crappy weather we have been having (seriously, isnt it june?) the original BBQ scheduled was moved indoors. It was fun to visit, eat and play the name game! We are going to be so sad to leave these great friends behind!

The Curse of the Pink Polka Dot Dress

Posted by Picasa

Many of you know of this already. Most of you that do know are because you are the neighbors who see us daily! Eliza is in love with this Pink Polka Dot Dress. Over Easter while in California we attended one of my Aunts many famous dress parties. The mistake I made was taking Eliza with me. I picked out her Easter dress, a pretty pink one with a big bow in the back and a flower on the front, thinking she would love it. Then she picked out one on her own, put it on and asked my Aunt DeAnne if she could buy it. That is when it all went down hill. She has either worn it or wanted to wear it everyday since. It was a cute dress to begin with so I wasnt bummed to buy it. Some of you may be wondering why I dont just get rid of it. Oh trust me, I have tried. But I have come to the conclusion that giving in is easier then listening to..."please mom can I wear my pink polka dot dress, please, please, please, please, PLEEEEEAAAAASE!" I try hiding it or put it in the laundry hamper to tell her it is dirty. But she quickly puts it on before I can even say anything. She has even climbed to the top of her closet and our hall closet (yes I tried to hide it there once!) and found it! Maybe it will just magically dissapear during the move!

Planting flowers!

What a fun day this was to plant flowers with Eliza. She was so cute and wanted to do everything all by herself. It was a little frustrating but fun! I just wish we could get some more sunny weather and they would do a lot better!

Preschool Program

This year was Eliza's first year of Preschool and boy did we love it! She had a great teacher that was so fun and taught her so much. A few of her friends were in the class with her that we carpooled with. Eliza was so excited for her Preschool program. It was in a conference room at a nearby hotel. They sang songs that they had learned throughout the year and put on the cutest little show! My heart grew (and yes I got choked up) to realize how much she has changed since she first started. They gave her a little scrapbook of all her work and progress which was fun to see how much she had learned! I loved watching her put her hand over her heart and say the pledge of allegiance. She was so proud and did such a great job. We were happy that Dad was able to go into work late so he could attend. And thank goodness brother didn't come!
